This system meets all the demands for the TIG impulse welding process combining both simple operation with best reproducibility of the welding results. It is especially designed to achieve maximum performance. The device is programmable. Without any need of extra equipment it controls remotely the orbital welding tongs and heads, the clamping system, the cold wire feeder and the welding TIG torch.

All important welding data are set and digitally displayed at the control unit. Upto 12 welding planes can be called up.

The new orbital welding generation

This is a two-component remote controlled orbital welding system with interior clamping, centering and backing device.

The two-component orbital welding system simplifies automatic orbital welding meeting ASTM/DIN standards. New ideas and innovative approach in design rendered it possible to reduce investment cost and time consumption for use in plant and on-site applications.

The orbital welding tongs weld all joints automatically. Welding conditions remain unaltered throughout the cycle due to special design features and accuracy of operation.

Special features:

  • Infinitely variable adjustment of the welding, amperage from 3 - 180 A (100% D.C.) and infinitely variable adjustment of pulse time and pulsing ratio.
  • Infinitely variable adjustment of gas pre and post-flow times.
  • Electronic welding amperage regulation stops signal automatically or manually at the end of the welding including overlap.
  • Regulation of the cold wire speed and the speed or the orbital welding tongs-constant or synchronised to the impulse welding current.
  • Regulation of the flow of backing and shielding gas.
  • Digital readout of peak and background welding current.
  • Connection of TIG hand torch by adapter.
  • Computer interface for measuring X/Y chart available as an option.
